Any professional activity involves the multiplication of existing traditions, reliance on historical models of professional behavior accepted in society. The specialist’s activity should be based not only on the use of the totality of previously developed methods and technologies, but also on the observance of the moral requirements of previous generations. However, a view similar to that of the ancient Greek and Roman philosophers, according to which "the torment of conscience is an unnecessary burden", is quite and maintained [1] with which it is impossible to agree. After all, the "eternal" statement is that "whoever finds many unjust acts in his life, he, like a child awakened from sleep, is frightened and only expects the bad in the future" [2, с. 42-43]. So a person who experiences all the pain of immoral acts on the part of law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, courts, medical professionals, lawyers, private detectives (the very bodies where there is a significant vulnerability to injustice) – will forever lose confidence in them.
Study of formation and development of morality in modern conditions allows us to identify and focus on solving the following pressing problems that have moral meaning: this is the formation of a high professional culture of a specialist, which implies the observance of moral relations in the team and with citizens, tact, openness, sincerity, respect for their predecessors; solidarity in upholding the truth and prestige of their profession; protecting the dignity of their colleagues, observing professional secrets, personal responsibility for the accuracy of the information transmitted, etc.
Observance of the above mentioned norms will help to increase public confidence in professional activity, which in turn is subject to justification of the expectations and hopes assigned to it.
As a conclusion, it should be noted that today an important world society is faced with the task of ensuring the harmonious development of man in order to realize his professional forces for the benefit of the entire Ukrainian people. In solving of this problem, one should rely on professionalism in the field of activity to which a person has devoted his entire working life, and on his humanistic moral qualities, developing under the influence of global changes.
